I’m Soul Eater. I’m 18 years old and I’m the coolest DeathScythe in the DMWA, thanks to my meister. My meister is Maka Albarn. She’s a bookworm, whiny, always crushing my skull with oversized books, and the list went on. And you know something? I wouldn’t trade her for anything in the universe.
Last night, something quite… unusual happened between me and her. We… well… man, I sound so uncool… we kissed.
We were watching this sappy corny love movie and you know how Maka feels about them: always telling her that love doesn’t happen like that and one always ends up hurt, bla bla bla (Spirit is one monumental douche, seriously). So I took her in my arms and kissed her.
“I’m not any kind of guy, Maka, and definitely not like your lousy cheating father. I’m the coolest guy who’s your partner that will always be there for you and protect you from anything.”
I left on that going to sleep. Though now, after I got dressed, I was a bit worried about how she'd react to my kiss now. No mission and no school today, so we were sort of stuck in the apartment.
It was my turn to cook breakfast, so I managed to do her favorite. Once ready, I called her out as I sat down and ate.
She finally came out. I know exactly what was on her mind. We stared at each other. And remained still. I mean, statue-still.
“Uh, hi.” I said in a very uncool way. Damn it...
“Hi…” She suddenly blushed. Wow… she was so cute right now.
We ate in silence, and it was very heavy in the air. Man, I had to break the atmosphere. But how? Then, I noticed a pale scar on her right arm. I smiled.
“What is it?” She asked me clueless.
I sat next to her and cherished that scar with my thumb. “I remember that scar. I would have been sliced in half if it wasn’t for you.” She smiled. All right, good! I know how I can lead that!
“That was a long time ago, Soul.”
“Yeah, I know. It’s just that it’s my duty to protect you, Maka.”
Her hand lied on a small scar on my arm. “And you’re always going over the line. I remember that one: it was during against that witch who tried to destroy Australia.”
“Yeah. It was a nice trip though.” I looked her legs and pointed another one on her left thigh. Man, her skin was so soft. “That one was… oh yeah! When we killed that kishin who wanted to be ‘remembered in history.’”
“Oh yeah, he was so mad at you for calling him uncool.” She giggled. That sound, I never get tired of hearing it. She eyed inside my shirt and put her hand on my chest. “That one… This is the one that means the most to me.” Her eyes were the cutest and most beautiful. Her smile… damn! An angel’s!
“For me…” I touched the side of her stomach. There was a large scar there done a few years back. She had nearly killed herself trying to save me. “This one.”
I pulled her towards me and kissed the scar's place. Well, the shirt was in the way, but who cares. It was symbolic. I meet her eyes and she was blushing again and she regained her focus on her breakfast. Damn it… I had to get her attention to finally say it.
“I really meant it, Maka.” She turned to me. I think she knew what I was talking about. “Yesterday, that kiss… I meant it, with all of my heart and soul. You’re everything to me, Maka. You’re the coolest girl I’ve met and… I want to be with you. And protect you for as long as I live.
I took a deep breath. It was now or never. “So, Maka, would it be cool for you to be my girlfriend?” Finally said it! Damn… my heart was beating like a giant stomping the ground!
She kept looking at me, eyes widened and nothing to say. Come on, say something, Maka!
She turned as red as an apple. Okay… I guess it was good, or not. She looked sideways and rubbed her arm. Man, I really was nervous now. So uncool!
“Why? She said. Finally something! “Why me, Soul? I mean… I’m not like these girls always chasing you. I’m a bookworm, I’m not really fun. I don’t have a big chest. I’m not really your type, even though I really want it to-”.
On that, she stopped talking realizing what she’d just said. And the grin of my face just couldn’t be any wider. Oh, God! Please tell me I heard right! I grabbed her in my arms and spun her around the room!
“You love me, don’t you? Please tell me you do!”
“I…” She blushed harder.
“Don’t make me tickle you, Maka!” I threatened amusingly.
“You wouldn’t-”
“Too late!” I tickled her like mad! She just tried to push me away, but I held her tightly against me. I wanted to hear it!
“Stop! Soul!” She kept on laughing.
“Say it!”
“I love you! I love you, okay?”
“You mean it?”
“Yes, yes! I love you! Now put me down!” And I did so. YES! SHE LOVED ME!
“Wow…” I didn’t know how I looked, but I was sure I was looking like a 4-year old at Candyland. So uncool. But I didn’t give a fuck about it. She loved me, that’s what mattered right now.
She raised one eyebrow, smiling. “You look so surprised…”
“Of course I am. But happy as well. Remember when we first shook hand, when we agreed to be partners?”
“Yeah.”
“On that same moment, I told myself that I had to protect you, no matter what. Maka, I never said or felt anything like that towards nobody before.”
She smiled to me like a high school girl with her dream crush. Actually, the situation was pretty much like that. And man, that girl knew how to make a man’s heart jump in flames.
“So…” She said. “Please, say it.” And I knew that exactly.
My forehead rested on hers. “Maka, I love you.” And she giggled in respond. So cute.
“Really?” She said softly staring dead in my eyes.
“Maka, if I have to put a ring around your finger right now to prove it, I will.”
“Seriously?” She jumped in surprised. And I nodded with a fanged grin. Trust me, I was really serious about it. “Nah, keep it for a few years later.” I shrugged.
“I’ll always protect and love you, Maka. I swear on my heart and soul.”
“I know you will, Soul. I’ll do the same, too.”
“Yeah, but since it’s my main duty about the protecting, I’ll try doing it for both of us. I gotta keep being cool, you know.”
“Oh, you!” She giggled. “So… what now, my boyfriend?” She giggled again.
“Well, my girlfriend…” Now, I switched to my lover mood. “I could just do this…” My lips landed on hers and they danced to each other.
So yeah, in the middle of the kitchen, we were just kissing, and kissing… more kissing. I lifted her in my arm, still kissing, hands travelling throughout our bodies. And we went to my room and… for the rest, that’s just not of your business

MakaxSoul Fanfic First Date
Maka checked her cellphone: 6:05.
"Five minutes late," Maka wisphered to herself. She occupied herself with her quaint surroundings. The street was filled with only a few passerbys. She looked into the restuarant she was waiting outside of. Many people were seating in their seats, eating mouth-watering food. "Wait is that..." She thought she saw a familiar face when --
"Hey," his voice came. "Hope you weren't waiting too long."
She forced herself to smile. She hoped it didn't look forced. "Don't worry about it."
"Shall we go in?"
Maka nodded. Swiftly, her date clasped their hands as they headed into the resturant. She tried to hold back

Amber eyes shifted; the swirling pool of velvet temptation in the glass was ignored in favor of the sight of the floor filled with desire, cruelty, passion, and spinning bodies. The dizzying buzz was nothing new; a small torment that he handled with care so as not to allow it to take over. It wasn't numbing, he kept his own thoughts about him. Still, it craved his attention, and it wasn't the only thing that tugged.
She was just as discrete, twice as hungry, and infinitely more forceful. She always managed to capture him – a single moment, a movement, a word, and he was fully attentive. Even from a distance.

SoMa Fanfic - Fever
"Aaa-chooo!" Maka sneezed. Soul groaned.
"What gives, Maka? Why are you sneezing so much? Stop it. It's getting annoying," Soul asked as he leaned his chair back in his desk, he starred up at the ceiling, trying to hide his concern for his partner with his cool demeanor and pretending to only half care.
Maka glared over at her weapon, her eyes as sharp as daggers. "How am I supposed to help it?"
"Simple. Why don't you try going to bed?" he said, his tone; irritating. Maka puckered her lips and jeered away, staring out the window of their apartment at the setting sun over Death City.
"Not tired," she said, a bit childishly, but angrily at
